No tools required! Create a vintage-style fabric covered button in no time at all. I love covered buttons for both function and decoration. (The one above is just a sleeve detail set over a flat bow. Cute!)
First, use the pattern on the back of the covered button kit to cut out a circle of your fabric. I buy the Dritz covered button refill kits; the ones that don’t include the tools. I find the tools unnecessary and a spool of thread works just as well to snap the back of the button in place. Follow the video below to see how the rest is done. Then go cover all the buttons!
