The Charm Poinsettia Apron adds a festive (if impractical!) touch when playing hostess for the holidays. This delightfully over-the-top project is designed for sheer fabrics, but can be made from any woven fabric you desire.
The apron is designed for adult-sized bodies. If you’d like to make a smaller or larger apron, just print at a smaller or larger scale.

Recommended Fabrics, Supplies, and Yardage Requirements
Recommended Fabrics
For a sheer Poinsettia Apron, we recommend: silk organza.
For a non-sheer apron, we recommend: cotton sateen, broadcloth, poplin, oxford, lawn, eyelet, and shirtings. Alternatively, for a more glamorous finished garment, silk taffeta, dupioni, or shantung may also be used.
For the apron support, we recommend: heavy nylon crinoline or scratchy net tulle. You want something lightweight and structural.
For the border of each petal, we recommend: beaded tulle, net, or lace yardage. Alternatively, lengths of ribbon may be used.

How do I download, print, and use my PDF pattern?
We offer digital patterns in two formats: letter-sized PDFs to print at home and A0 sized PDFs to print at a copy shop. In the US, we highly recommend printing A0 files with The Plotted Pattern. Outside of the US, these printers have been recommended.
