Recommended Fabrics

For the Beauty Sleep Eye Mask, we recommend lightweight, natural-fiber fabrics that will be soft against your skin: rayon challis, and soft cottons like lawn or sateen. Silk crepe de chine or silk charmeuse would be a luxurious choice!

Knits are not suitable for this design and we do not recommend polyester fabrics for this project. Man-made fibers will trap heat and moisture against the delicate skin of your face.

Beauty Sleep Eye Mask Yardage Recommendations

This is a great scrap-busting project! You will need 10 inches by 30 inches (25.4 by 76.2 cm) of fabric, and about 4 inches by 9 inches (10.1 by 22.9 cm) each of cotton batting and lace.

We offer digital patterns in two formats: letter-sized PDFs to print at home and A0 sized PDFs to print at a copy shop. In the US, we highly recommend printing A0 files with The Plotted Pattern. Outside of the US, these printers have been recommended.
