I’m going to Dapper Day at Disney World! (Right after teaching a three-day workshop at Wandering Stitches in Orlando.) And since afternoon tea and Disney are two of my favorite things ever, how about a sewists’ meet-up at the beautiful Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian? I’m picturing this as a way for sewing enthusiasts to gab and get to know each other before the Dapper Day festivities begin. Come dressed in your favorite handmade frock (hats and gloves encouraged!). I was able to reserve a large table, but space is limited.

Where: the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian Resort

Cost: Tea service is around $50 per person (you can add fancy things like champagne and caviar, my favorite).  Payment will be taken care of individually at the event.
