Hi all! The Popover Dress from my new book Gertie Sews Jiffy Dresses has been such a hit that I decided to make a video tutorial to help you along–especially if you’re new to sewing. This dress is the perfect project for beginners. And if you have a little experience you can make one in under two hours!

This style is an easy-fitting pullover dress with optional shoulder bows and big patch pockets with flaps. Once you cinch it with a purchased belt (like these elastic cinch belts) and wear a petticoat underneath, it gives you a great fit-and-flare silhouette.
