You’ve seen our Charm Circle Skirt, but we wanted to take it further with the fullest, most fabulous ’50s circle skirt ever! When nothing else will do, this double circle skirt adds a dramatic flair to your wardrobe. True to the name, a double circle skirt has two full circles of fabric (one in the front and one in the back), yielding a truly extravagant skirt. It’s a fabulous separate when sewed with the included waistband, or pairs beautifully with the Liz, Lamour, Landis, and Mariner bodices for an over-the-top, opulent look. Charm Double Circle Skirt Supplies
- Fabric for skirt
- Thread to match your fabric
- Interfacing for waistband (look for lightweight woven, weft, or tricot types)
- ¼ yard fusible interfacing or roll of 1¼-inch-wide (3 cm) fusible stay tape to stabilize zipper opening
- 7-inch zipper
- Hook and bar closure
Charm Double Circle Skirt Fabric Notes
We recommend light- to medium-weight wovens: cottons like lawn, poplin, broadcloth, shirting, lightweight seersucker, lightweight denim, chambray, sateen, pique, and batik; silks with body like dupioni and shantung; linen and linen blends; and wool suiting, flannel, tweed, and silk/wool blends.
